EVA Foam Scrap Grinding Machine

EVA Foam Scrap Grinding Machine is a new type energy saving and environment friendly recycling equipment. It is suitable for recycling rubber and plastic foam scraps such as MD, EVA, SBR, RB, PE, sponge, etc.

Traditional scrap recycling process normally uses a crusher (22 kW) to crush scraps first, then extrudes them into sheets via rubber & plastic open mill (55 kW). Its output is around 100 kg and requires 3-4 workers. The physical and chemical properties of scraps tend to degrade under high temperature extrusion, resulting in a low recycling rate.

The EVA powder grinding machine adopts high speed water cooled rollers with a 45 kW motor. It supports 24 hour continuous operation and only needs one operator. Its output reaches 120-150 kg, subject to scrap material conditions. Since scraps are directly milled without crushing or extrusion, the finished powder retains original physical and chemical properties. The powder particle size ranges from 80-120 mesh, and the working temperature stays close to ambient temperature at around 60℃.

Besides the above advantages, 10-20 kg more powder can be added per kneading batch. The produced foam sheet features 3-5 mm increased thickness, higher density and zero color difference. It shortens kneading time; the mixer shaft operates more safely with low failure risk, and production capacity improves significantly. Each machine can bring an enterprise a daily profit of USD 200.
