A6: No, EVA molds are designed specifically for EVA material.

Q7: What type of materials do you typically use for steel in your normal operations?

A7: EVA molds are typically made from A3 steel under normal conditions, with a specific model number of Q345B. Rubber molds are typically made from 50# steel.

Q8: What is the typical thickness of the base plate used?

A8: The standard thickness of the base plate we use is typically 8MM, 10MM, or 12MM.

Q9: What are the differences between Teflon and hard chrome plating in terms of surface treatment?

A9: Teflon has a smooth surface for easy demolding. Little or no release agent is needed, so the finished EVA sheets are super smooth and flat. The downside is it needs regular surface maintenance after long-term use.
Hard chrome plating features a durable coating and longer service life. However, you must spray release agent evenly inside the mold during production. Without it, sheets will stick together, causing bubbles, local adhesion and minor surface flaws.
